Amena M. Ali is a Board Certified Physician Assistant who graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at San Joaquin Valley College in Visalia, CA. She graduated at the top of her class and received certificates of academic excellence throughout her training. Amena received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the College of Charleston, SC. She also has certifications in NIOSH Spirometry testing and is certified as a Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) for her industrial/occupational patients. In addition to family medicine, Amena practices women’s health, occupational medicine, and travel medicine.
Having had the privilege of treating geriatric patients at many skilled nursing facilities throughout Orange County, Amena is a versatile provider to a diverse patient population. In addition to treating her patients with traditional medications, she is also trained in integrative medicine which combines both traditional and holistic approaches. Amena firmly believes that clear communication is of utmost importance in establishing a trustful relationship between the provider and patient and in achieving the most beneficial results from treatment. Due to the diversity of patients she sees, she knows that every patient has unique needs that have to be met and that one size does NOT fit all. Amena’s goal is to offer patients individualized treatment plans, working with them to set goals that meet their needs, so they can take control of their health. She loves spending time with her patients, educating them about their medical conditions and the key role patients play in managing their own illnesses.
